Our Council Activities

Christmas Hamper Project

Each year our Council, in co-operation with the Share Society and the Port Coquitlam Fire/Rescue Department put on a
Christmas Hamper Drive. From December 15 to 18 the Assumption School gymnasium was the hub of activities as 24
Knights from our Council put in over 350 volunteer hours preparing over 260 Christmas food hampers for poor and
underpriviledged families in our area.

OKTOBERFEST
Saturday, October 23, 2004

Okoberfest was a joint venture between the Knights of Port Coquitlam Council and the ladies of the CWL.
This is the first time we have really worked together on an event and it went extremely well, with virtually
all of the 200 available tickets being sold. Proceeds from Oktoberfest are going towards sending the youth
of O.L.O.A. Parish to World Youth Day 2005 in Germany. Thank you to everyone who helped make the
evening the wonderful success it was.
